Leave a tributeHey Micko. Im sorry i never got to really know you. Sounds like you were pretty awesome. Just wanted you to know Mum always loved you, even though she struggled to show it. I will always remember a picture of you smiling, holding a little bro on a surf board and I always thought how happy you were as my big bro.

Mick,
It still doesn't feel real that you're gone mate. From the days back in Tonny as teenagers, through to when you moved to Melbourne, then Coffs and back down to Colac, the one thing that remained constant was how much of a bloody terrific mate you were, always with a smile and a joke, being around you made everyone feel better mate, you were loved by us all and will be missed more than you could have imagined.
Hard as nails but a heart of gold , a bloke couldn't have asked for a better mate.
RIP Mick

Black you will be sadly missed my condolences to your dad colleen and stepbrother Christopher.
Mick you were abandoned and left with us but your plane ticket never arrived the day your dad picked you up was a sad day for us all we thought we just lost a mate but you came back a few years later in your little silver Torana that so suited you down to the ground. Over the years you done a bit of traveling you always managed to make the most out of life and what you had you never stressed about the material things in life and what you had you would give to anyone in need if anyone ever need help a ph call and you were there it's still a shock to all that your gone the last time i seen you you said life was great moving back in with your dad and looking after him has been a blessing on you both you said i was just the ticked you had a job you were happy with money in the bank and said this was the first time you have ever been able to buy a new car you seamed so content at that time and said moving in with dad was great so sorry handels and myself never made the trip down last year but will get to catch up again one day love you man.

Mick, my teenage years are full of memories of you and your cheeky smile! My last memory of you is when you came to Geelong, I think it was to see Barrel and we caught up. I took you for a ride along the Great Ocean Road in my Capri. We had the top off, the wind in our hair and you had a beer in hand. We shared a beautiful day.. R. I. P my friend you were loved

Mick, we didn't get to see you all that often over the last few decades, well, not as often as I would've liked, but you were always fondly thought of and always missed. But when we did catch up it was always the same Mick, a laugh and a joke and recalling old times, great old times from our teens to our twenties and on. Our jam sessions playing the Doobie Bros, You were there for me for some pretty tough times and followed up on how I was when you could. This you were renown for, just a great bloke, a champion and a man among men. I'll never forget the last time we saw you, a huge hug, a cup of tea( instead of a beer) :-) and all too soon you were gone, busy catching up with all that loved you. You'll be so very sadly missed mate ...RIP
Sincere condolences to Colleen , John & family.
Kind Regards
