Dear friend to Effie and Geoff. Son of Alan and Elizabeth (both dec). Step-son of Joan (dec). Much loved brother and brother-in-law to Liz and Laurie (dec) and Janet. Cherished son-in-law to Myra. Much loved Uncle to Emma, Andrea, Christopher, Kerry and Tracey (dec); Darcy and Connor.

The Funeral of Alan "John" Paton will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Thursday, October 31, 2019 commencing at 1:30 p.m.
In accordance with family wishes, John will be privately cremated.

My gentle friend I’m so sorry ???? I hadn’t seen you walking around cobram all year, I would look out for you but just thought I’d missed you until I asked one of the residents where you were only for him to deliver the sad news. He told me you were buried in Colac so I search the funeral homes, clicked on John and there you were. Look pretty good in a suit. I didn’t get to say goodbye , but you will always be remembered. To a man that was always polite & respectful of others. Some of us didnt know you for long others quite a while but I think you left something behind in all of us. May your pain be gone and you Rest in Peace.
