PETERSON, Daryl John

Born on February 14, 1963. Passed away on November 1, 2021.

Died peacefully after a short illness, aged 58 years.

Much loved husband of Lynne.

The hardest thing i’ll have to bear,
Is to want you and you won’t be there.
To hold your hand,
To touch your face,
No one will ever take your place.

  16. Dear Lynne,
We are so sorry to hear about Daryl’s passing, a life taken way to soon. Daryl was a friend to all and will be sadly missed. He was a great mate and I will cherish that forever. Training rides won’t be the same. He was always up for a chat and would get around to
everyone. It was always an amusing ride with Daryl because he had this little piece of road rage in him. It always made for and interesting ride. R.I.P mate. Never to be forgotten.

  17. Dear Lynne, we are very sad to hear of the passing of Daryl at such a young age, our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Daryl was an extremely positive influence on a couple of kids from the bush when we first turned up as apprentices in the big smoke, providing great support and guidance through the early parts of our careers. Very fond memories of working with Daryl over the years and who will ever forget that beaming smile and the immaculately clean car. RIP mate.

Daryl Will remain a key real gentleman I will always remember. His support, his friendship, great knowledge and love of all things cycling stands him appart from so many. His passion and loved for cycling, and his family and friends is just wonderful. The details and care he had for all his endeavours is a guide to how we should tackle ourselves.

Thank you Daryl for the great wheel to follow.

Lots of love to you and family.
