Funeral notice
Friday February 08, 2019
The Funeral of Keegan Quinney will be held in the Colac Botanic Gardens, cnr Gellibrand and Fyans Streets, Colac on Friday, February 8, 2019 commencing at 1:30 p.m.
In accordance with family wishes Keegan will be Privately cremated.
No flowers by request, in lieu donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the service.

Thinking of you both and sending my love and prayers at this vey sad time, i am so so sorry to hear that kegan has lost his battle, he was such a trouper, and even though he had terrible veins he never ever complained, he just took it all in his stride, and got on with life, he was so blessed to have such wonderful devoted parents. he will be the brightest star up there. with my daughter xxx

Thinking of you Sue and Greg,
We have many happy memories of Keegan since he and Tom met that first day at Kinder.
He will be remembered for his consideration of others, his courageous spirit in the face of adversity, his enthusiasm for life and cheerful acceptance of it's limitations. He lives on in our hearts.

Dear Sue and Greg
I'll always remember Keegan and his cheeky little grin, even as an infant. His smile was certainly infectious, I loved seeing you all when you would come into Target shopping.
Years on and our children attended school together, and that cheeky face still remained, he taught so many about life and living, he had a wonderful group of friends. He will be sadly missed, but remembered forever.

Susan and Greg the loss of your wonderful and kind and funny son is felt a half a world away. We love Keegan. Being around him made us better people. All these years his phonecalls brought us so much joy. He was an amazing and strong man, raised by equally amazing and strong parents. No one complained ... You just got in with it. You surrounded each other with love and support. This is the thing we remember most about the three of you. Never getting bogged down in the moment but rather just getting on with it. Getting in with all the challenges placed in front of you. You all inspire us. Keegan's loss is deeply felt because he leaves such a strong impression on those who knows him. He was loved ... He was clever and insightful in class with his unique understanding of life, challenging us all to think about the world from a different angle. The days Keegs was at school were always more fun ( we’ll never forget the wheelies) and we and our kids are all better for having known him. What a great friend to all his mates!

Keegan, one of the best blokes I have ever known. A mate I was able to trust and have a laugh with. I am grateful for the time I had known Keegan. One of the toughest person I would ever know. He was the type that would care about every one as he was the type to put a smile on your face and cheers you up even if you were feeling angry upset. Words cannot explain how tough and happy he was. He was just so grateful to have the support of his friends but also and most importantly his family. Rest in Peace mate. Won’t forget you.

My memories of Keegan bring a tear to my eye and a smile to my face. Wonderful memories of a man who smiled through the pain and taught us so much about life and the joy of living. Whether it be playing car tag or hanging doughnuts in the wheelchair, we could easily find you in the yard by listening to the laughter of you and your friends. Thankyou for the lessons in life you gave us all Keegs. People like you are the reason I teach.
