Passed away peacefully at Corangamarah.
Dearly loved wife of Wally “Tubby” (dec). Adored mother and mother-in-law of Gwenda, Rhonda and John, and Julie. Cherished Grandma of Jason, Tracy and Tara; Sharna and Kane; Jeron, Rohanna, Ryland and Khalen. Great Grandma of Dylan and Beth, Makayla and Trent, Jagger and Willow; Oliver, Miller and Parker; Izzy and Tilly; and Wylie. Friend to all.

Thursday March 07, 2024

The Funeral of Mrs. Edna Winifred Reid will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Thursday, March 7, 2024 commencing at 1:30pm. The Funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.
As per Edna’s wishes, please wear bright colours.

Dear Gwenda, Rhonda and Julie

I've just watched the live stream of yesterdays gathering. No-one, except perhaps the Queen, could wear hats like Mrs Reid - such a wonderful tribute to her when you choose to do like wise at her service. Seeing the photo tribute reminded me of the times she and Peggy spent ferrying their three girls to Brownies and Guides - with both of them having to admire our dodgy efforts at cooking or handcraft to earn our badges. In the latter years it was seeing the twinkle in her eyes and the clasp on her hand whenever I attended her church in Colac. She was so proud of you three and your families and would take much pleasure in relating the latest adventure.

Sympathies to Edna’s daughters and their families ,in the loss of your beautiful mum . She enjoyed such a long active life,we rejoice that we knew her..Edna for 20 years we enjoyed your company on Monday afternoons , at WOM / Women on the move,we have missed having you with us recently,But have many memories of you ,always dressed in colorful coordinated outfits with hat to match, and a gorgeous broach. We have memories of your baking and your flower posies.And time spent with you at your home in your magnificent garden. Edna youkept fit for many years by walking and attended Genevieve’s excercise class ,I was amazed that you could easily touch your toes. You always made our family sooo welcome and supplied many a scone as well as your sponges after a long ride with Tubby every Sunday as well as supplying dry clothes for the kids on wet days.,
