  2. It’s hard to put into words what my grandfather meant to me.

He wasn’t just my Pop , he was one of my greatest teachers and the man behind so many of my best memories growing up. I’ll never forget catching my first fish with him out on the boat, the excitement of that moment and how proud he was. Those are the kinds of memories that stay with you forever.

He taught me how to light a proper fire, shared bush knowledge you can’t learn anywhere else and showed me how to drive a boat , handle a tractor & much more. He was always patient, always willing to teach.

Some of the best times were out on the farm hunting rabbits off the back of his ute or walking along his property while he showed me how to track and hunt them properly. It wasn’t just about what we were doing… it was the time together, the stories and the lessons along the way.

From the farm & bush to helping me with school projects, teaching me woodworking and showing me how to build things with my own hands. He gave me confidence, skills and a mindset I carry with me every day.

He’s a big reason I’ve got a love for the outdoors, adventure and getting out there to experience life travelling around 1 destination at a time.

I’m so grateful he got to meet my wife and his great grandson. That means more to me than I can ever explain a part of him will always live on through our family.

    Thank you for everything, Poppy.
For the lessons, the adventures and the life you helped shape.

I’ll carry it all with me, always ❤️

Love always - Brandon , Yumi, & Kai
