Passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Loved husband of Anne for 29 years. Cherished father of Peter and Elsie, Kerry and Tyson. Adored Grandad of Digby.
Much loved son of Barry and Heather Riches. Older brother and friend to Gavin and his family.
Funeral notice
Friday May 20, 2022
The Funeral of Mr. Wayne Riches will be held at the Sea Lake Community Complex, Complex Drive, Sea Lake on Friday, May 20, 2022 commencing at 4 p.m.
In accordance with Wayne’s wishes, a private cremation will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colac Palliative Care Team. Envelopes will be available at the service.

I am so sad that I cannot be there tomorrow -not good bye but see you again. Wayne was a man who gave so much of himself to so many. And hasn’t he left a much better planet for that. Wayne was all about relationships - working together to achieve the best. It is rare to encounter such a person with his commitment for his students and his colleagues. I cannot thank you for all little jobs you just did. Wayne moved us from hu beings to human beings and from everyone you touched we are just so amazed. Tyrrell College is deeply saddened by the loss of Wayne. He was a passionate teacher, who always wanted the best for his students, and a valued colleague, who was ready to help out no matter the size of the request. Generous to a fault, he will be very much missed.
