Passed away suddenly at home. Loved partner of Carla (dec). Loved Dad of Ben and Nicole, and Sam. Pop to Eli and Will; and Jax and Adelyn.
Funeral notice
Thursday December 29, 2022
The Funeral of "Rocky" Rochford will be held at St Mary’s Church, Gellibrand Street, Colac on Thursday, December 29, 2022 commencing at 1.30 p.m.
In accordance with family wishes "Rocky" will be privately cremated.

A true and honest person who took the inevitable in his stride for so long is finally at rest and in peace but who's Spirit will live on forever. Reunited with Carla. What can I say my brother, my friend my hero, it’s just not going to be the same without you. So many memories growing up, trips to Blanket Bay, backyard cricket with the Kingwell’s, Rowe’s and whoever else turned up, beach days in Lorne and if the main beach was too busy we would end up at St Georges river or Fairhaven away from the crowd, we had our own Birre crowd that would take over the beach, our days spent out at Yalloak swimming in the river it felt like the whole town was there, we were always cruising somewhere. I always felt safe cos no one messed with your little sister or any family member, although you did scare off a couple of boyfriends lol. Times spent with you and Carla when you lived in Deer Park and the many amazing memories of partying at your place in Birre. You and Carla made everyone feel welcome and I’m sure everyone was there! It was so hard watching your health decline but you were not one to give up always determined to do it yourself and you loved to tinker and sometimes had to push yourself to get out there and make or repair something, your bird houses were truly exceptional pieces with such detail. I enjoyed visiting you in Birre and after you moved to Matoa you always came back to visit friends and family and I will always treasure the time you came and stayed with us in Apollo Bay recently. Your real strength and courage shone through in these last years, you always had a purpose. Well Dee dock ( Stevi Jack) I am going to miss you so much my heart is aching but I am comforted to know that you are now with your beautiful Carla, Dad, Mum and Carol. I love you so much, rest easy, fly high, see you when I get there. Your sister Leanne. ❤️🥰

Rock, it's hard to believe you've moved on. A beautiful man to the core. We'll never forget our years of friendship. The laughs and great times we shared with you & Carla and the crew will be treasured happy memories. You made your home feel like our home. Uncle Rocky growing up I thought you were the coolest uncle. Carrying me on your shoulders at the Birre pub after the footy telling everyone I was your nephew. That was you to a T, you were proud of your family and wouldn't hesitate to stand up for any family member.
There are so many memories I have of you, most of them hilarious because you had the most wicked sense of humour, and loved nothing more than a good joke. Always generous and welcoming we were always welcome at your house and you and Carla loved to have a good time and share a funny story. You faced lots of issues with your health that may have slowed you down a little but you have never lost your sense of fun. You will be missed by many. My deepest condolences go out to Ben and Sam and families, your bother Len and sister Leanne.

Known by all these names but to Len you were always known as Stevie.
