My sister’s father-in-law was a beautiful man of quiet dignity — a steady source of support, and a man who carried a deep and unwavering love for his family.
My heart is with all who were touched by his gentle presence and the grace of his life. I also feel there are several beautiful spirits welcoming him across.
May he rest in peace, knowing he was truly loved and will never be forgotten.

To Dot and all of Sid's family, I send my sincere condolences. Over my years with regular chats with Sid as we had community outings and gatherings with the Mens Group at Do Care, Sid was an extremely valued participant, one who everyone remembered and wanted to chat and laugh with. He enjoyed sharing himself and his communication with others, and this was his special gift for sure.
Lovely memories I have of chats around the table. A good man.Heather Anderson,

To the Rosevear family, the most fondest memories of Sid that I have was that he would always say “Gidday Cuz” whenever we saw each other, whether he was walking around our neighbourhood or up the street he was always so lively and genuinely happy to stop and have a chat. I hope Dad is up there having a good old laugh with him and a joke.
One of THE most amazing gentlemen this earth was lucky to have.
Thinking of you all at this sad time.

It is privilege to pay tribute to Sid a true gentleman. Always approachable and up for a chat, a genuine good and kind bloke who embodied respect and integrity. His contribution to the community through the Fire Brigade forged friendships that lasted decades. He was always to the ready with a helping hand. Our memories go back to the 50s and over all these years we have been blessed to call him a friend. He lived a long, meaningful life that enriched everyone who knew him, even through tough times. He was deeply proud of his family and our thoughts are with you all as this long chapter in your history comes to a close and you face life in a new way with the legacy of Sid as a guiding light.
