Dearest Maureen,
Toughest lady I ever met.. Rough around the edges and she wasn't afraid to challenge anyone. But when it came to her children she was fierce and even fiercer with her love for her grand children as they came along. She did what she thought she needed to do.
Roast Lamb was the bomb and will be talked about for years to come.
Glad you are out of pain and you are with Aussie.. You always had a soft spot for the animals.
Thoughts are with the boys and grandkids today.
Beautiful day to say good to you.
Sending lots of support to you all today.

Maurs, you were an absolutely beautiful soul. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends.
Rest in paradise, my friend. 💔💔💔

Mum
Tough as nails, sharp as a tack and defiant right to the end. You had been through thick and thin but always managed to come out on top. Always with something to say and was never frightened to say what you thought. Going to miss those classic quips like "Wish in one hand, spit in the other and see which fills up first" when we asked for something as kids. You had a few of them. A funny bugger you were.
Being a saints supporter means you automatically have to be tough and I think tough describes you more than any other word.
Hopefully your three sons have made you proud and we can carry on your legacy.
It's still hard to imagine you are not around anymore and it will take some time to sink in. At least you are resting peacefully and no longer in pain.
Love from your first born son, David.

Maureen,
You have always felt like family to us, we are so sad to say goodbye. You were the original Aussie battler, tough, funny, quick with a cheeky grin and always up for a yarn. You stories of your life sometimes had me in tears, sometimes in stitches, but always had me in awe of what a strong, feisty lady you were. Fly high now Maureen, no more pain. Cheers, until we see you again.

Tough, resilient, brash and defiant to the end. Rest easy knowing your boys have turned ok and you leave behind a great legacy for us to carry on.
Your absence will be felt for sometime and me and the kids will miss those regular stories that somehow repeated themselves in modified forms over the past 20 years.I think I almost mastered your roast and spaghetti bolognese!
Aidan, Georgie and myself will miss you more than you will ever know.Rest easy now mum the hard work is done.
Love and miss you always Ken, Aidan and Georgie ❤️
