Old Tom,
Couldn’t have asked for a better neighbour for almost 20 years. We will miss raiding your veggie garden – especially Sydney (age 3) – who even last week said ‘these potatoes taste like Tom’s potatoes’. We will cherish our memories together for a long time to comeBrittny, Travis & Sydney

Our family are very saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. Tom was a highly valued, hard working, diligent and respected employee, when he worked for Joe and Angelo Cavalieri (both dec) concreters. I had the great pleasure to meet up again and enjoy a chat with Tom many years later.
Condolences to Wendy and Karen and their families,
from Robert Cavalieri on behalf of the Cavalieri family. -

To Karen, Wendy and families. Many thoughts are with you at this sad time. Tommy will never be forgotten. Our Hart street days were full of banter with Bevin and Tom meeting at the fence, each believing THEY were right !! Many laughs were had……now they can resume where they left off !!
Sincere sympathy from Betty, Bevin (dec ) and families. -

To Wendy, Karen & families. Sorry to hear of the passing of your dad Tom. Tom & Marion were good friends and supportive neighbours for 14 years back in the Hart Street days. Our back door couldn’t open without Tom matching with a scurry to the fence for a chat and to solve the latest problems of the world. Or to match whatever we grew in the veggie garden, but better & bigger.
A busy man he often remarked, “Both hands full, a fly in your eye & the bloody phone’s gotta ring”. Time to rest Tom.

To Wendy ,Karen and families , I have known Tom for some 60 + years , when he worked at Colac Water Trust and had an old Land Rover , grew peas in his spare time ,right through to his tanks and troughs , which we had the privilege to cart . Many a coffee was consumed at both the “yard “ and Hart st . Also the cartage of his cattle from the farm . Although I have not seen him for a fair length of time , memories are there forever . Condolences to both you and your families . His legacy will live on with every concrete tank we all see in our travels . Barry and Jan. Healey .

To Wendy, Karen & families. Sincere condolences on the passing of your dad Tom. Many many years I had spent Xmas eves with your mum & dad back in the early days trying to solve the worlds problems. Unfortunately I wasn’t well the day of the funeral but would have loved to catch with you both. We certainly go back a long way that’s for sure. Dad had a very strong personality & opinion on many subjects but you would expect that from a one eyes blues supporter. I hope I get to catch up with you both one day in the not to distance future. Thinking of you all. Stuart Nelson 10 Alexander St Colac.
