Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside House, Camperdown, aged 88 years.
Dearly loved and cherished husband of Margaret. Loved Son of William and Mary (both dec). Treasured brother of Dulcie, Ray, Joy (all dec) and Laney. Much loved son in law of Nelly and Reg Brewer (both dec). Fond brother-in-law of John (dec) and Diane, Ray, David and Jan, Theresa and John Fleming, Joan and Steve Blackley, Michael (dec), Karen and Danny. Loved uncle, great uncle and friend to many.
Sleeping peacefully.
Funeral notice
Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Mr. Desmond William Russell will be offered at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Walls Street, Camperdown on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 commencing at 11am.
The Funeral will leave the Church at the conclusion of Mass for the Camperdown Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at the above Church on Tuesday evening, June 2, 2026 commencing at 7pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunnyside House Camperdown would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the service.
