Tributes
Leave a tributeHearing of your passing was a huge shock and I shed many tears. I’ll miss our chats and little ‘gossip’ sessions over a cuppa along with those amazing biscuits you always ‘baked’. And those sewing sessions that didn’t involve sewing!! I’ll finish that quilt one day I promise!!
Oh how I wish I could have said my goodbyes. Miss you annd your cheeky laugh already.June 16, 2023 10:23 pm
In loving memory of dear Margaret. She entered many facets of my life along the way. A client when I worked at CC and CS. A sewing friend at sewing sessions, mostly at her unit at BB. A true Geelong supporter, whom I had the pleasure of attending the odd game with, at Kardinia Park. A kind and gentle confidant, to my one and only son, at BG. Have a chat to John, about Adam when you see him. Tell him how you kept him on the straight and narrow, whilst he was working.
Adam spoke very fondly about Margaret, and considered her to be a true friend, whilst she resided at Barongarook Gardens.
Margaret, you were so funny.
Simply the Best.

Auntie Margie/Margaret was a wonderful woman. She generously welcomed me into the Tibbits family when I married her only newphew Josquin. I rememeber her winking at me with a grin on her face at our engagement party and her saying 'oh, he's quite good looking isn't he'! At every gathering she would entertain us with her sharp wit, humour and endless stories. Her warmth, love and thoughtful gifts to us and our children were always cherished. So many happy memories of family times together in Colac and Melbourne! We will miss her and the bright spark that the brought into the world. May she rest in peace and her legacy live on in the many people and places she touched.

Dear beautiful Margaret. I am so sad I didn’t get to say goodbye . The world is a little less bright without your light in it. I will miss our catch-ups and our stitching that always had more cups of tea than stitches.
