  18. It was with a great shock to me and with much sadness felt, as I learned of the passing of Don whilst away in WA.
We go back a long time, with many long years of great friendship in your home Pat, when in my teens, growing up with David, Deb and later Jeanette. We all shared in many happy chats and laughs together.

I wish to convey my deepest heartfelt condolences to Pat, David, Deb and Jeanette and to all of Don’s extended families. He was such a great family mentor, great father to David, Deb and Jeanette and loving husband to Pat. I always loved you all so very much and know the whole community is much the richer for all you so willingly and passionately devoted to all involved in the Colac Swimming Club as a great coach and true friend to all, dear Don.

Thanks so much for sharing your very infectious sense of humour with us all.
I cannot believe that I was only chatting about your family with my husband today Don, and sharing stories of our happy childhood memories… little did I know you had already passed).
Sending much love and hugs to you all. ????????????????????????
