Pete had great passion and knowledge about lots of things from second hand goods at the store he and Debbie had at Beeac to anything gardening, he especially enjoyed growing plants that were unusual, I used to enjoy our chats about garlic.

  12. Love brother of Kevin and Julie and Uncle to Sam, Ben and Jess. Memories of growing up and playing up in Somerset Tasmania. Rocking roofs, blowing up letterboxes, riding our bikes without lights. We sure kept the local trooper busy. Peter loved his mum Oda’s family in the Gippsland area. Peter wasn’t a bad fisherman’s but not as good as his brother Mark. Peter sure lived a chequered life.
    RIP big brother love Kevin

  17. I was shocked and saddened to hear of your passing. growing up in beeac Peter was one of the constants of day to day life, pushing his barrow up to his shop, like a tinker of old. His shop made the town feel more like a community not just a bunch of houses. When i use to stay over for sleepovers with his daughter he’d always have some biscuits for us as a midnight snack and he made the best pancakes I’ve ever tasted. A good man lost but fond memorys of you will live on with many, many people. My condolences to the family.
    R.I.P Peter

  18. I am in shock, Peter was such a special person he would make everyone he met feel like you had known him a life time. When we had the shop together, I would say to him..NOW peter you know you cant drink port in the shop? He would reply , NO Donna i dont drink in the shop & then we would clean under his desk and there would be about 8 port cartons(empty of course) LOL. All we could do was laugh, and he would hide it in a steel cup. I always said he could sell ice to an eskimo ha ha ha, I would pick him to go to Bingo and say to him dont you get to drunk before we even get there, HA I knew I was joking saying that. But he will be sadly missed and never forgoton, our condolences to MARK, BECK and all The family.
RIP Peter. Donna, Darren & Reece Crawford xxxxxx
