  5. Grannie,
Such a caring person who was so generous with her time and talents.
Your scones were always sought after at morning tea at work or afternoon tea at cricket and were still being mentioned just a few weeks ago!
One of my favourite photos is of you and my brothers at the cricket. I am grateful that you were always supportive and interested in what I was doing.
Yours was a life well lived. Thanks for all that you have given to my family.

  7. Auntie Thelma,
You and Uncle Neal played such an important role in educating Simon and I to understand what it was like to live on a farm and not be those “city slickers”. We learnt so much on your farm and then on top of that got to enjoy your amazing cooking! So glad I got to catch up with you earlier this year. It brought back a flood of great memories. You and Uncle Neal were such a great team, very hard working, wise, funny and great to be around. You always will have a special place in my heart and I will always remember you on the 19th of September as this is the same birthday of my beautiful daughter. No doubt you are now up in heaven cooking for everyone and feeding the farm animals! Once again thanks for all you did for me..My best wishes and condolences to Judi, Helen and their families.

    Lots of love Jason Spencer.x

  8. Oh Thelma,
Thankyou for welcoming us so well to Colac and Chapel Street. Your friendly "hello" to us every day was music to our ears. You treated our boys like great great grandchildren, buying them toys for birthdays and Christmases. You always had time for a chat and were so independent until the last few years. You were so proud of your children and grandchildren, your face lit up when you spoke about them.
Our thoughts and love to Helen, Judi and families x
    Rest easy now Thelma xx
