RUTH
Your thoughts were always for others and how you could care.
You spread your deep and loyal friendship everywhere.
With a puzzle book by your side, a cheeky and mischievous smile in your eye,
you faced life's ups and downs with deep faith and Christ by your side.
Oh, how we will miss your sweet and loving friendship.
But now our deep tears say it all, as we say our farewell, sweet friend.
You meant so much to us all.
Rest joyously in His Peace.
Love, Trudy, Sheila and Jim. xxx ooo .March 21, 2022 5:59 pm

About my courageous friend Ruth,
The suffering she carried in her body has now ended. The yearning for her loved ones now quenched. My friend is now at peace with her Lord Jesus Christ.
I am so missing our chats. It is hard to come to grips with our loss. However it is heaven's gain. I am imagining Ruth whole, healed and happy, running with children, laughing, laughing, laughing.
That which she waited for throughout her life is finally here. Her eternity with Christ.
She is my dear and valued friend. I will miss her at my table and as my guest so very many times. We, the Tuesday group girls are missing her.
This lady was a champion.

Sad to hear the news!
A very generous Lady who despite her health challenges contributed to make Colac a better place- through her many efforts such as Meals on Wheels. I was involved with her at the Visitors Centre and Reading for the visually impaired where she gave enthusiastically.

Oh Ruth, I know you are running and leaping and praising God. Your days on earth weren’t as many as you liked, but now you have an eternity of being renewed and whole. No crutches. No popping out hips. No more pain.
You touched so many lives, only God will know how many, all your volunteering- Do Care, Low Vision, Tourist Centre, Meals on Wheels, to name a few.
Will miss you dearly.
