To Joan’s family. We had such good times at the Colac hospital many years ago when Joan was nursing. She was a treasure, never any nonsense, just common sense with her. I worked in the office and we had many day to day contact. Sincere sympathy on her loss. I have great memories . Vonda Carson

I will never forget the teaching and the instruction that I received from Joan when I was a student nurse in Women’s Ward when Joan was charge Sister. She was the person whom I would have felt totally safe with if I had been sick. She was a totally devoted, and gifted Nurse. Have had talks with her since ,& I held her in total respect. An amazing lady who will never be replicated. Rest in peace Joan. Thankyou. Jeannette Sell
