I worked with Lee for over a year, all over zoom and on the phone, for my first time learning to run a team for which Lee would have been much more suited to lead. I was so grateful to have his support and help throughout that time. Every day he always put in 110% effort in just being a genuine person and boosting me up, which without him would have made it so much scarier and harder.
The sad part of working over the phone meant missing out on getting to meet Lee in person and being able to have fun work get togethers. Still, when organising a few little get togethers over zoom it was always fun to be able to sit around and chat and try make the most of it.
Lee was a humble and kind person I'm thankful to have been able to learn from.July 09, 2024 4:28 pm
Leeroy, it’s such sad news to hear of your passing.
You were forgiving, caring and generous with a huge dash of sarcasm and quick wit.
From Karaoke nights at the Austral to setting carbies on fire and rebuilding gearboxes in your folks shed. I treasure all the special times we shared, especially that day I put on a dress and you were there to rib me for being such a girl.
A true gentleman who was loved by all who knew him, rest easy big fella xx
Deepest sympathy to Terry, Karin, Tony, Renee, Matty and family.July 09, 2024 9:16 am
I feel and been very honored to have been a part in Lee’s life over the last ten years or more as both a colleague (Ford Clubs) and of a personal friend. Lee has helped me in so many ways over those years and l have been sadden by his passing. l am passing on the most heartfelt wishes to all of Lee’s family (most l know) that you may hopefully find comfort over the coming passage of time in knowing Lee left the world a better place and was a highly respected and greatly admired person before his passing including the staff at my work place (Pammy's Pizza).
