  12. Unfortunately my family and I are unable to attend my nephew David’s funeral, we are beyond sorrow at David’s sudden and tragic passing. David was my godson and will always be remembered by our family for his love of life, family and for being there when needed. David had a mischievous nature and could be relied upon to be the life and soul of any gathering, we always remember his wedding to Leanne as different but beautiful and happy especially the reception at the Gellibrand Hall. Our thoughts and love are with Leanne and her family and also with his Mother Jenny, sisters Tracey, Lisa and Kate.
David goodbye from all of us, you are now in the arms of angels, we that are left are comforted by knowing you were greatly loved by all.

  24. Dear Leanne, Jenny, Jack, Lachlan, Olivia, Tracey, Lisa, Kate and families,
We are sending our heartfelt sympathy to you at this devastating time with the loss of dear David. We were so lucky to have 7 years in Hordern Vale with David and Leanne next door. Our children loved the bus rides with David and we felt so blessed to have such a kind friend taking them to and from school every day. David was such an entertaining and funny man. His passing will a great loss to the community. He gathered everyone together to renovate Hordern Vale Hall, he was a big part of our Christmas celebrations and of course his presence in the childhoods of all the children in the area was strong and inspirational. David was the last person I spoke to when we left the Otways for W.A. during Covid. He came to say goodbye and I am so grateful for that hour or so of a conversation filled with banter and laughter, catching up on our families and remembering our time in Hordern Vale.
Thank you David for all the happy memories.
With love to all of David’s beautiful, loving and beloved family,
Annabel, Martin, Katie, Eleanor and James Tunley
