Tributes
Leave a tributeWhat a wonderful man. I have huge respect for Les.
He attended my father’s funeral in 1991, and although my father was not an Aussie WWII vet (he was in the Polish army), Les saw fit to drape Dad’s coffin with the Australian Flag. Les and Family became our friends when we moved to the Heytesbury Settlement in 1962.
I’m sad to hear of his death, but what a life well lived.July 19, 2023 1:41 pm

Les was a truly remarkable man.
Les’s Dad and my Grandfather fought together in WW1 at Beersheva Israel in October 1917.
It was great to have Les at the most recent ANZAC day and be able to publicly acknowledge his attendance.
A man who overcame his own issues as a result of his own service in WW2.
So honoured to have known and respected Les.
“Well done good and faithful servant”
My condolences to Mrs Trigg and the family.
RIP Les
