1. On the 20-12-1925 you couldn’t wait to arrive earth side making your presence half way down the old beachy line between Beech Forest and Forest on the push cart you were born .. you were the youngest of 3 .. you made your way through life skipping school so involved in farming and cattle and horses .. they were your life .. starting work with Stewart’s livestock at the age of 14 loading the pigs then onto droving cattle all across the state .. for nearly 50 yrs .. Oh there are so many stories of your life you have shared with me . Horses you loved training race horses , breaking in and working stock horses .milking your jerseys in Naracoorte .. that bloody folerious seed(someone still owes you a bob or 2 for that ????) .. then your beloved breeding of Frisian Holstein when moving to Barwon Downs. Jan (mum) was your world when she passed it broke your heart .. many hrs we spent sitting reminiscing about her memories and stories… I spent so much time over my life with you and mum on the farm.. You were Wal and I was your little Bastard. You taught me is swear ???? mum used to growl at us for swearing saying you should know better but me I was only 5 ???? Many trips to the pub for a good meal and a drink. Your Birthday crayfish washed down with “Jack”.. Actually “Jack ” washed a lot of things down ???? you were a very knowledgeable man and very interesting to listen to, you taught me so much. I really appreciate my time with you and so glad in the end your final Wish in life was for-filled for you not to go into a home and pass at home on the farm. You were a grumpy firery old bugger (the Wigley gene)
   But would not have it any other way .. how boring that would of been.
   Rest easy
   Will miss you x
