My heartfelt sympathy to Val and all Eric’s nieces and nephews and families. Keith and I were friends of the Williams family since MYF days and I will miss our talks even though in later years not very often. He has been a faithful servant of the Lord and will be greatly missed at our Uniting Church.

My deepest sympathy to Eric’s family. What a wonderful kind caring man. He was our neighbour in Pollack st for a very long time Even though he wasn’t my Uncle I still called him Uncle Eric to this day. Lots of chats over the fence and playing in his yard with his nieces when they came to stay from came Melbourne.
Wonderful memories from Adriana -
Remembering Eric as a very kind man, very community minded and generous with his friendship. I always loved our chats whether it be about his many interests of local history, plants in the garden and he’d talk of his family and friends.
Eric was a very active member of Do Care which is where I got to know him. He was the first to welcome me into my new role there, which I always appreciated. I found that this kind gesture, and his natural friendly self, was Eric to everyone – also loving a laugh or two along the way.
Condolences to Eric’s family & friends; and to his special friends John & Anne Abbott.
Kind regards,
Heather Anderson (ex- Do Care Lifestyle Co-Ordinator) -
I have had the pleasure of knowing Eric for quite a few years, initially with my days at South West Do Care, and lately with Miller House. Eric was such a lovely welcoming gentleman. He enjoyed his time with both SWDC and Miller House, and truly appreciated his friendship with John Abbott, his Do Care volunteer visitor. Eric’s presence, humour and banter will be greatly missed
