Peacefully at St. John of God Hospital , Geelong. Loved husband of Faye (dec). Loved father, father in law and Pa of Jeanette, Peter, John (dec), Donna and families.

Son of Ruby and Frank Brunt. Brother of Lloyd and Alan (all dec)

Funeral Notice

Service: Friday October 28, 2016

Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Mr. Mervyn Louis Brunt will be offered at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Gellibrand Street, Colac, on Friday, October 28, 2016 commencing at 1.30 p.m.

The Funeral will leave the Church at the conclusion of Mass for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.

It is with great regret, that the members of the Rotary Club of Colac note the passing of Merv Brunt, a great bloke and a staunch Rotarian for over 40 years who did much to help others in our community, during his working life and also well after…. Merv was awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship and was again awarded a Saphire Pin for his dedication to Our Club and the wider community. Let’s hope we can preserve his legacy, that great collection of trucks that he loved so much…… RIP Merv……
