Tributes

  1. Goodbye to a treasured sister in law. I'm so glad that we managed to meet up when you came to Scotland with Graham. It was nice to go over old times with you and I am so glad you managed to find happiness in Australia with Graham after the tragic events here all those years ago.
You will be sadly missed as you lit up any company you were in

  2. A truely wonderful woman. Who didn’t just make me feel welcome in her home, she made me feel like one of her family.. Visiting her with Johnny when we were on leave felt like going to visit my own mum in Scotland. That’s how special she was..

  3. A Tribute to My Sister Mary
Today, I say goodbye to my beautiful sister Mary, who left us far too suddenly.
Although she lived in Australia, so far away from home, she was never far from our hearts. No matter the distance, Mary always had a way of making us feel close. Every time the phone rang and it was Mary, I knew I was about to have a laugh.
She was the life and soul of every party, full of fun, warmth, and a wonderful sense of humour. She loved a giggle and could always find something to laugh about. Even on ordinary days, she had a way of brightening them with her cheerful spirit and infectious laughter. I remember one phone call when I was feeling particularly low, and within minutes Mary had me laughing so hard I could barely speak. That was her gift—she always knew how to lift people’s spirits and make them feel loved.
The thing I will miss most are her calls, the laughter we shared, and hearing her familiar voice at the other end of the line. Those moments were a gift, and I will treasure them forever.
Mary leaves behind so many happy memories, and while our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the love, laughter, and joy she brought into our lives. She was a wonderful sister, and her memory will live on in all of us who loved her.
Sleep peacefully, Mary. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be missed.
    Your loving sister,
    **Anne David **
